Boquete sits at around 1,200 metres in Panama's western highlands, close enough to the equator to have no winter and high enough to have no heat. Lucero is in Jaramillo Abajo, in the district of Boquete, province of Chiriquí, Panama — about fifteen minutes from both Alto Boquete and Bajo Boquete, and roughly forty minutes from David and its domestic airport.
Yes. Foreigners buy property in Panama with the same rights as Panamanian citizens, and there are no legal restrictions on foreign ownership. Title is registered in the buyer's name at the Public Registry of Panama, or through a Panamanian corporation. No residency or visa is required to own.
Potable water, irrigation water three times a week, security and daily patrol, garbage collection, and maintenance of all common areas. Forest Brook Reserve condominium maintenance is $2.50 per m² per month.

No. The purchase can be completed remotely through a power of attorney. That said, Lucero recommends a virtual call with you and your agent before any site visit, and most buyers do end up visiting — the altitude, the climate and the drive up are not things a render conveys.
Water comes from natural springs and is held in reserve tanks distributed through the community. Each residence has a three-chamber septic system with an inspection chamber and infiltration well. Electricity, water and irrigation all run underground. Boquete is a growing town and occasional utility interruptions do happen — residents are advised to keep backup systems, and the gatehouse and clubhouse have backup supply.
