Buenaventura is the luxury end of Panama's Pacific coast. It is a master-planned resort community in Río Hato, in Coclé province, about 80 minutes west of Panama City — a little past Coronado and the Panamá Oeste beaches.
The community is built around a golf course designed by Nicklaus Design and a resort hotel, The Buenaventura Golf & Beach Resort, part of Marriott's Autograph Collection (it was previously a JW Marriott). Residents have a private beach club, pools and full resort infrastructure, and the homes are among the most expensive on this coast.
