Championship golf
Lucero's 18-hole championship course was designed by J. Michael Poellot, and it is friendly enough for a mid-handicap visitor while still holding up for a good player. The setting does a lot of the work — fairways cut into highland forest with the valley falling away below, and on clear days the Pacific and the islands of Boca Chica visible from the higher holes.
The club hosts private and public tournaments through the year, plus corporate outings, charity events and member competitions. Tournament setup and scoring, on-course contests, halfway-house lunch service and rental clubs are all available, with professional support included at no extra cost.

Clay tennis
Three outdoor classic clay courts sit beside the clubhouse. Clay is the right surface at this altitude — kinder on the joints, slower in the ball, and it drains well through the green season.
Matches and lessons are offered through the club for adults and juniors, which in a community this size is usually how new residents meet everyone else.

Seasons Restaurant
Seasons is the farm-to-table restaurant in the clubhouse — globally inspired cooking built on what Boquete's highlands actually grow, with homemade ice creams and desserts, and a veranda and front deck looking over the course.
The clubhouse also works as a venue: small corporate meetings, multigenerational family gatherings, weddings and celebrations. There is a poolside dining deck and bar, plus a BBQ area with outdoor dining space.

Treehouses & Canopy Suites
Lucero is part of the Preferred Hotels & Resorts Lifestyle Collection and the Preferred Residences brand, which is what puts a genuine hospitality operation inside a residential community rather than beside it.
The treehouse suites sit up in the forest canopy with a 270-degree view across the fairways and forest toward Boca Chica and the Pacific. The Canopy Suites sit along the edge of the landscape with floor-to-ceiling electric glass, spa-style bathrooms with oversized rainshowers, and an outdoor grass patio. Practically, it means you can send visiting family somewhere good without them staying in your guest room — and it means you can try the community before buying into it.

The forest around it
Walking trails run through the reserve, and the gardens are landscaped for the panoramic views rather than against them. Boquete is one of the better birding regions in Central America and it shows — hummingbirds are a daily event, not an excursion.
Utilities run underground throughout the community, so the views are not crossed by poles and cables. Water comes from natural springs held in distributed reserve tanks.
